Me and my cousins were talking yesterday about how girls say sorry too much. Like, when I accidentally bump into people I'll say sorry instead of excuse me D : And I'll say sorry for little things when I'm not really sorry. So, do you guys do that too? What about girls?

That statement is pretty generalized. I'm a girl I don't say sorry a lot IRL because I rarely ever do things to be sorry about. Online I say sorry more becuse I want to appear polite, but IRL I don't need to because everyone knows I'm polite. neutral
I don't see a difference regarding who says sorry more either because nowadays people usually don't fit snuggly into gender stereotypes anymore.

…I apologize quite a bit. Didn't think it'd be something that only girls do.
Though I know someone that really goes on a 'sorry rampage'
And I gotta say it's pretty cute too.
She knows who she is. And she's pretty much the only one I know that does that.

I called her on the phone and she touched herself... Some boys that were randomly at my mom's wedding reception (it was at a bar owned by a good friend of my stepdad) were poking fun at me for being "overly polite" when I was chatting it up with them. Apparently it's too polite to apologize when you drunkenly step on someone's shoe. =P I probably said something along the lines of "I'm sorry" when I was just being silly and drunk and such but it really wasn't that excessive I don't think. They were also making fun of me for being Canadian.. haha so I poked fun back. ^^
Normally though, unless I'm somewhere like work or with people who I'm not used to/they're not used to me I'll be more cautious but with my normal circle of friends and family I'm really not ladylike at all. Psh.
Lawl, Nor does apologize a lot. It's funny, because he's more proper/reserved than I am when we're talking so I'll try to not swear overly or whatever and he'll be saying sorry or pardoning himself for saying something that isn't even that bad. Hehe. <3 you Nor. xD ...I laughed myself to sleep.

If I bump into someone, I'll say sorry at least 3 or 4 times before I
walk away. xD;

I say "Pardon" or "Pardon me" just because I`m that awesome.
I don`t say sorry much unless it`s a "sorry? What did you just say?" type situtation.
Never for bumping into people or saying rude things. . .

It annoys my friends so much when i go:
Me: *bumps into locker* Sorry!!!
My Friend: Stop saying sorry dammit!
Me: Sorry sorry!
and that happens at least once a day for me.]

When I was younger, I used to say sorry quite a bit. Even if it was something small, I'd apologise.
But one time I said sorry when it wasn't needed and my friend threatened to slap me. sweatdrop
So I kept my mouth shut.

i have to say it's not really just girls that do it. it's not a gender thing.. it's more based on one's personality.
Though I do say sorry a lot, but not usually around my friends as much. They annoy me too much to get such treatment. ninja

People in my school have an obsession with bumping into me, not just the guys, mostly girls, I say sorry even if it is his/her fault... I did that once near my friend and she freaked out asking why I said sorry to the girl sweatdrop I don't say it to my friends they would slap me xp
