Uhm.. that's kinda like David vs Goliath only David doesn't have his handy sling shooter with him sad I will not deny that Green Day has some appeal, some small amount of musical entertainment value but .. Ramones are the epitome of Punk Rock and there is no contest here. razz

hey, thats so funny... i just had a test about david and goliath in religion... (that suggests that i go to a catholic school that is very annnoying...) moving on to the topic, i think that green day is not very good... their only good song was bouvelard of broken dreams, and i still give it a 5.... i think that the ramones r much better

Yeah, I would definitely pick the Sex Pistols over the Ramones. I llove the Ramones but they're a little too soft for me.. so are the New York Dolls for that matter.. I know it's not even in the same era but I liked Dead Milkmen a lot too. Still not better than Sex Pistols, though.
