I would like to join as well! ^_^; Original Character Sheet: Name: Hafsah Ishtar Age: 16 Time Period: (Egyptian or New Age) New Age Powers: None, but she has a whip as her weapon of choice! Appearance: (Image is useful) (My picture is pretty big, but here is the link for it. Obviously she's the one in the middle. XD Also, my friend drew this one. ) Hafsah's picIt's not colored, so here's some other details: Hair: Light Blonde Eyes: Light Green Height: 5'5'' Weight: 130 lbs Personality: Her bark is worse than her bite sometimes, but she can pack a punch! Other than that, she's pretty girly, a true Hikari (opposite, of course) to Neferitja. Bio: As a young Malik wandered the streets of the outer world, he heard a soft whimpering noise. He looked to an ally, and in the shadows was a little girl with light blonde hair, her face buried in her arms as her knees her hugged to her chest. She was in rags, and her body was covered in scratches and bruises. Malik knelt before her, and petted her hair, she was crying. "H-hello...?" The little girl looked up, and through the tears, green eyes shining. She saw him, and said, "...Mommy...?" Malik just blinked, but from there, it was history. When Malik grew, he found the girl again, this time she was stealing things. He took her in, and she became one of the first few members of the Rare Hunters. Her skills are that of an expert theif, a master of disguises. Soon, they came to Battle City, and she would help Malik gain the Millenium items. Her job is simple-since she is light enough and blonde enough to pass off as an American, she takes on the alias "Heather Winner" from California, and she is to befriend Yugi and the Pharaoh Yami in order to steal the Milennium puzzle. But as she becomes friends with them, she sees that they are very good people, and she feels unable to steal from little Yugi. But Malik and her daddy-by association-Marik, will not stand for it! (In some Rps, Marik and Malik are together, and in some they're not. It's just Marik (The yami) is much more macho. XD ) I also have another character, who is Hafsah's "Yami", so to speak. She's Hafsah's past life: Name: Princess Neferpet/Touzoku-o Neferitja Age: 24 Time Period: Egyptian (From Ancient Past) Powers: She is on Hafsah's Queen of Bandits card, and also has a whip, but that's about it...she also obviously dwells in the Shadow Realm. Appearance: This is the card: Queen of Bandits cardThis is when she was Princess Neferpet: Princess NeferpetAnd this is a bigger version of Touzoku-oh Neferitja (I am pleased to say I myself did this!): NeferitjaHere's something on Neferitja: Height: Same as Bakura, 5'10 or 5'11. She was equal to him in every respect, even at eye level. Weight: 125 lbs Personality: She's a hard a**, period. As Princess Neferpet, she was sweet, kind, and gentle. Now she is stern, firm, and stronger because of her husband. When he died she became both King and Queen, Mother and Father. She really holds her own, and stands for what she beleives in-even to go as far as justifying Bakura's rage and vengence. Bio: Queen of Thieves, on the card she is the Queen of Bandits and Hafsah's past life. She was once known as the princess Neferpet, Atem's little sister who at age 14 ran away to escape an arranged marriage to Priest Seto. In the desert she was found by a band of thieves and taken to Bakura originally as his birthday present from the other thieves. Soon Bakura grew fond of her, and she became his queen in less than a year. They were best friends, partners in crime, and above all lovers. But then he left them all, promising to return, and never did. When he died (after facing the king, her own brother), he left her behind as well as seven children they had over ten years. She took the throne after that, making new laws for the thieves in the "Thief Kingdom" near Kul Elna, in which even some were conspirating against her(Rules: "Do not kill for pleasure, only in defense. Do not pillage, plunder, or rape. We will do this as clean as possible."). For three years she ruled with an iron fist, anyone caught disobeying her rules faced certain death. She frequented villages, making them hand over some of thier belongings and money. Tomb Robbing was a scarce hobby under her, and the thieves grew angry. And the greatest betrayal of all? She left them, just as Bakura did: She surrendered herself to the new Pharaoh, ironically Seto (leaving everything behind, including her children). At her request (and to avoid execution), she was sealed away in a stone tablet, so as to suffer the punishment of her husband's crimes. She was then used as an example-Seto's orders-to other thieves, especially to her Thief Kingdom home, when her tablet was displayed on the kingdom's borders, and the Thief Kingdom was dispanded, thier Golden Age died along with her and Bakura. Nefer-Itja is now Hafsah Ishtar reincarnated, and she herself dwells in the Shadow Realm, angry for the death of her beloved husband, in which she believes was the greatest injustice of all. (^_^; I hope this doesn't sound silly...XD I did my best, I revised these two so many times...)

Albeit, I might drop out so ya'll can do your puppyshipping thing... >>;;
Since it seems like mutal agreement... and I'm already over my head in schoolwork and roleplays. I'm not completely sure about my descision yet, but I'll be sure to let you guys know.
Oh, and if I do stay...
I don't necessarily know if I'll agree to all of the terms in which Hafsah's OC involves Malik. So, yea, I mean, to avoid arguement, if she cannot find a way around it, since I've already nearly fully developed Malik's childhood and background in my head, again, I'd almost rather pass.
>>;
Still considering it though.. persuade me if you'd like... -.-; If I can do anything, it's be active... which is pretty mcuh like... necessary for these things, but yea... I dunno...

8D Ah hah.. Okay, give me Ryou, Atemu, and Seth. Ah, yes, and prepare to be buried in my Textness. Role play with Aki-Chan so you can see jus' how bad it'll be:: Linkage!
:3 Yeah, I'm a character player. M'pretty used to playing, uhm, lesee... 8D Everyone from YGO that ends up in whichever rp. Hence my claimingness. Ryou's my favorite, though..
I'm also willing to try Tristan, Téa, and Mahaado, though admittedly I've never played another of them but Téa, and her only in passing. D: And can we PRETTY PLEASE, either use the Japanese names ( .__.; Akila the evil has gotten me set in using them now), or else just use Téa's Japanese name, Anzu Mazaki? >>;; 'Cause in my head, the difference between Téa and Anzu, is the difference between spazzy, fangirlish cheerleader friendship preacher, and prideful woman who prizes emotions and relations and will kick your a** if you look at her cross-eyed or insult one of her friends. :3 Keh... Oh! :3 I'm also willing to play Yuugi, too.
How I'd play them warnings::
Ryou Bakura- Has a spine, and a little bit of attitude. No longer being possessed by Bakura (?Accuracy?), has finally learned how to control his own body, hence lowering the awkwardness. Tragic past, as is required for any Millennium Item holder, clever, talented, and with a whole truck load of fears and phobias, most of which are relationally based.
Atemu (Yami no Yuugi)- Err... owo;; How do I describe this..? xD;;; Prideful, terse, defensive, possessive, aggressive. Lotsa 'issive's. Very much ready to stop dwelling and do the afterlife thing right, but has a bad habit of, if something's going wrong, and it's not already being handled, he just has to do something about it. Everything from the toast's burning, to a nuclear war about to go off, to some idiot getting their hands on an ancient text that, with rituals and evil ness, can actually bring people back to life.
:3 Ah hah! Sub note! >>;;; You really ought to let me into the bad guy ring.. x3;; Based on past experience and opinions from people I've role played with before, I am VERY good at villain. Also, Amon-Re (or Ra, if you'd prefer), is the Egyptian God of the sun. If we're not stereotyping it to be the Egyptian Book of the Dead (actually titled something more like a book of prayers for before the sun rise, won't go on that rant), we should use a different deity from that pantheon. I suggest Osiris (Egyptian Lord of the Dead), Anubis (Egyptian Guardian of the Dead), Horus (the fellow whose symbol is the Millennium Eye, I believe. Suggest this one much less) or Seth (Egyptian deity of evil and stuff).
>>; Oh, hey, Aki-Chan...? If you want, I could play Yami no Malik. :3 I can make him act evil, y'know. AND and and--!! I can make him act evil, and human, AT THE SAME TIME! xD;; Aren't I the best?
owo;; Group RPs scare me.. =D Now to continue characterization notes!
Seth- Ahh hah... Er, I only played this fine fellow once. x3;; Think like Kaiba (arrogant, prideful, obnoxious, willing to stop at next to nothing to get what he wants, driven, intelligent, talented, powerful, wants to know everything) except nicer and more fun. :3
Tristan Taylor- Er... xD;;; Ah hah, ionno. I'm still developing a characterization for him, so I couldn't explain it. I think page... Thirty six or so of my rp with Aki-Chan (linked earlier), has him make a guest appearance, but.. That's mostly focused on Jou. Er, I mean, Joey.
Anzu Mazaki/Téa Gardener- x3;; I already mentioned how I think of Anzu (versus Téa), and I would play her, like I think of Anzu, even if m'calling her Téa.
Mahaado- xD;; Similar to Tristan for my experience with, but never played him at all... Ionno, though, I bet I could pull it off all right. M'pretty good, and I've been dwelling in Yuugiou non-stop for about six years now, so..
Yuugi Motou- :3 Yuugi is.. Easily worried, concerned, a bit awkward, about as geeky as Ryou (but less graceful with it). Full of life, possessive, protective, confident in himself by this point in time, and... Has no idea what he wants to do with his life, besides spend time with Atemu saving the world and crap. xD;; No long term goals, I mean. Anyway, yeah... And a lot more worldly than he lets on. :3
If anyone wants, I have a list of how my head characterizes all the Yuugiou people, complete with images, adjectives, ages, et cet. x3;;
D: I wanted Yami no Bakura so bad... Ah well... :3 Ryou and him and my favorites.
8D Can I count as two people? I'm excited about this plot, it sounds fun.
Ahhh, Hafsah... :3;; I could do so much (constructive!) critic on that Original Character.. x3;; But I shall not, unless you want it. <3;;
EDIT:: Ahh hah hah... x3;; Well, Hafsah..? I can't seem to stop thinking about this, so I'mma give you some free, general advice, at the very least. :3 First of all, their aren't a lot of people in this guild (especially from what I've seen), who are going to start snapping at you, purposefully insulting you, talk down to you, or anything like that. Try and keep hate and flames, separate from critic and suggestions, mm'kay? Secondly, I admire your literacy. You have sentences and adjectives and words and grammar. That's super cool. The only thing I think that could've made your OC character sheet y'posted any more representative of the effort you've put into these two characters, is a little more BBCode on the formatting, and I'm a BB-addict, so. x3;;
Remember that your character, is your character. She doesn't have to be anchored completely to Yuugiou, or that universe, and you can develop her as entirely original, or keep her as a 'fan character'. Also, I think it's important that you know (jus' in case you didn't), that from role play to role play, story to story, and from person to person that you're playing with, you have to be able to adjust her, her story, and her personality traits/likes and dislikes. When we use characters over and over again, in a variety of stories, the same formula is never going to work the same again. Even if you've got a really good thing, you have to be able to sense when a shift needs to be made, even if you're only making that change for one role play. So, for instance, the way Akila plays Malik-Sama, you might want to think about Hafsah having a different last name than him in this role play. Aki-Chan's Malik is prideful, selfish greedy, and horrible at relationships ( xD;; No offense to you or Malik-Sama, Aki.). And I doubt he would want to allow Hafsah any connection to the Tomb Keeper's "legacy". Being an Ishtar is what put him through hell, he's not gonna want to wish that on anyone he likes (erm, at least.. I think.. Correct me if m'wrong, Aki). Further more, the line between Malik and Yami no Malik/Mariku, is pretty blurred the way Aki usually plays Malik-Sama. After all, Mariku is a split personality that Malik created, not a dark. And even though Malik is far from fond of the psychopath himself, from time to time the definition might be iffy. Unless, of course, Hafsah was equally attached to Rishid/Odion, in which case talking to him may have proven to help her tell the difference between when Malik is jus' royally pissed, and when Mariku is in control.
Is her skin tone tan, egyptian-ish? 'Cause her first name sounds kinda arabic, but she has blonde hair (kinda like Malik, I assume?) and green eyes, which is very foreigner for that country. Perhaps he found her elsewhere? The Ghouls, and the rare hunters, were world wide, he could've met her anywhere. Although, I assume if he met her in another country (besides Egypt), he couldn't have so easily met her when he was still very young. Which would make him getting attached to her a bit more of a feat. Er, anyway... If she is Egyptian, try n' remember that most people in Egypt actually have an extremely dark skin tone (like Rishid's), and aren't nearly as pale as Malik and Ishizu. Of course, none of this is to say your character cannot be exceptional/strange in some facet or another. Just, things to think about and remember. Being exceptional is practically the entire point of fantasy, aside from communication, now isn't it?
Ahhh, but, oops... x3;; I'm starting to get more specific. Heh... >>;; But, I cannot help it. I am so protective of Yami no Bakura, another note..? You may want to consider changing Neferpet/Neferitja's nationality. Or at the very least, set her for later on in the continuum. Even though Takahashi and his editors corrected the Ancient Egypt timeline to be more historically accurate, and hence take place three thousand years ago, rather than five, I still work with five. Either way, Yami no Bakura was active with the Ring most of that time (compared to Atem, who was completely dormant). In fact, in the Capsule Monsters spin off show, there is a mention made of Alexander the Great having possessed the Millennium Ring at one point, and how it turned him evil and brought an abrupt and tragic end to his conquest. Erm, but, anyway, she could very well be a talented woman, perhaps from Egypt around Caesar's time..? Who actually noticed that, whomever owned the Ring at the time, was not themselves sometimes. And, over the course of time, ended up actually getting to met and talk with Yami no Bakura, get to know him some (and probably ultimately be killed by him due to the influence of Zorc, but..). Err, anyway... Just ideas. Ahh, and, question? Is the Princess Neferpet, queen of bandits, whatever, card, for her Ka, or for her herself? owo;; Or did I completely lose you with that question..?
:3 And in closing, these are all just suggestions and reminders, and since I dunno what posing to use on my next image in the Prayer set for my RP with Aki-Chan, I think I'mma take a shot at drawing your OC, mm'kay? x3; I'll link ya when I'm done.
>>;; I have this horrible, almost over powering urge to make a role play lessons thread of my own.. I shall consider and design this...

I shall consider and design this... I like how you work, and I'm glad you were being nice about it-not a lot of people are. Here's the thing: 1. Hafsah is in fact, Egyptian. I can make her skin darker, no problem, but she DOES have blonde hair. This is because her original parents were an Egyptian mother and American father. 2. She was abanonded in Egypt. She thinks she is from that country, and I haven't decided whether or not to have been born in another country. 3. I can change it so that she joined the Rare Hunters, and that she does know of Malik. Not neccessarily know him personally. 4. Neferitja becomes the King of Thieves in Egypt. I am NOT changing that much about her, where ever I place her. And it's funny because they THINK she's a man, but she's really not, she's just dressed like one. If need be, the red coat can come from the first king (Bakura), and it was passed down. 5. She was princess Neferpet, Atem's sister, who ran away to escape marriage to Seto. It just kinda worked out that way. But for Neferitja to have a connection with Bakura...you know, I appreciate that you are overprotective of him, that's awesome. It's just I can't have Neferitja without Bakura. I just can't, unless we can come to a compromise. It would not work when Hafsah and Yami Bakura have that awkward encounter when she used the Queen of Bandits card. 6. Neferitja was sealed inside a stone tablet, thus why she is The Queen of Bandits card. She did it of her own free will to face the punishment that Bakura should have before he ultimately died. 7. I'm honored that you think I have good grammar and such. Thank you! ^_^; That's my end of the tale. But we NEED to come to a compromise on Neferitja. Hafsah, no problem, no big deal. Neferitja, I'm iffy on. Thanks for drawing my character, too! ^_^ Can't wait to see it. Also, thank you for the advice. And thank you, above all, for being so good and understanding. There are truly good people on Gaia, and you're one of them. X3
