Thats what i think of as a knitting nest... my chair filled with blankets and pillows where i sit and knit often, though i just call it my nest cause i do other things there too. Like read, and sleep.
i have a knitting corner. its filled with lots of blankets and pillows, and I just drag my laptop over there and knit and watch stuff on my computer

No, A knitting nest is baisically a cloth bag for which is propped open by a wood frame. It is very handy and useful for when you are knitting/crocheting/craftn'.
