So who else likes teh 'Knot?
They got me in to metal back in '99/'00, tender age of 6.
Still love 'em. Song's like Pulse of the Maggots, Spit it Out, and People=s**t are full of win, no matter what the poser a** 'metal head' douches say. Hell, they are popular as a ********, and they still haven't sold out, still cranking out Albums, touring, and so on. An their not some fake as band who doesn't care about the fans, they put on a hella good show, one of the best on the mother ******** planet.
New album and tours coming out this year, can't wait.

Rellik San You do know its bands like Slipknot that gave us the poser metal heads with the 'more metal then thou' attitude, prior to them, we were happy dressing like normal people, just with boots, better t-shirts and long hair. They have a few good tracks, but beyond that, I'm not a fan, its all a bit... well generic 'angry at the world' for me.
They don't even claim to be Teh Uber hxc Metal, but more of a genre on their own.
Unique sound, for sure. Awesome members, too.
But they have alot more than 'angry' songs, which is what makes up most metal, they also have some pretty deep songs, without 'trying' to be deep, they even wrote a song dedicated to a 7 year old murder victim, which was very popular, but removed later do to law bullshit.
They also have some pretty cool mixed songs, with elements like House, Techno, and so on.
Plus, they have inspiring songs that aren't about pity and s**t.
My favorite, all though soft core song by them, would have to be 'Pulse of the Maggots' one of the few songs ever to be dedicated to their fans AND be good.
Ever listen to People=s**t, you'd know they aren't some self pity band, and they actually are against the metal core kiddies they seem to attract, like the Manson fans.
In People=s**t, one of the most famous lyrics of the song is "I'm not Satan, so what do you want from me?" Refering to the poser a** mall core kiddies, and "I'm not like you, ********." which is obviously mocking the emo/goth kids.
But meh, I think they are still full of epic win. |

Stupid angsty teens, they hate emo so much, yet the act like them with the angsty teen-ness and such.
I do like a few 'metal' bands though, speaking of the more Grindcore-equ kind, I just can't stand Job for a Cowboy and bands like that. |
