I'm sorry, maybe I shouldn't do this but .. it's my first beg spam so I thought I would share it with all of you! I have to crack up at these things.
The person is actually in the guild. They haven't posted or done anything so I feel fairly confident they won't read this but *shrug* who knows.. to play it safe I'll leave the name out smile
this is what they wrote:

Now for the record, I just wanted to share with all of you because I was curious about this too.. I was not their number 1 friend on their profile, I was closer to like one of the last 8. smile Now I've only been playing for 2 1/2 months, and I'm sure I'll get more of these lol but this was my first!!
Do you guys have any beg spam stories? smile

If you put in your profile that your favorite thing is cotton candy, and your password is "cottoncandy", you were not hacked !!!
Please never give your password to anyone, even Gaia Admin., they would never ask anyway !!! The best way to make up a strong password is: ""make a sentence you won't forget"", and then use the first letter of each word, then add a couple numbers, for example, don't use this, the sentence in quotations would be "masywf" then with two zero's it would be "masywf00" this method will make a strong password. Try to make sentence that isn't about something in your profile...

I make passwords similar but a bit more complicated.. like
I love snow cones: i!<3$SCz
or something like that.. adding in characters, numbers, cap and small letters is the best way to make a pw smile 8+ characters is virtually unhackable. I was a UNIX Network Admin in another life smile |
