Dwarven mountains

The Mithral Mountains consist of a long, jagged range of mountains with low foothills on either side, and a prominent spur of especially rugged mountains rearing up in the very center of the range. It is as if some giant hand reached down and pulled the midpoint of this range of mountains high into the sky and then just left, either not wanting, or forgetting, to finish the rest. The hills on either side of this jagged backbone are low and gently rolling, becoming more rocky near the center. They seem to suddenly end where the massive central mountains climb straight for the clouds. These central mountains also seem to be stacked side by side making it very difficult to find easy routes through them. They are also quite rocky consisting mostly of granite and shale, covered only about halfway up with green skirts of pine trees. Scree and talus coat the more horizontal surfaces, making it precarious for both hunters and prey when the loose rock shifts underfoot.

The Ravenwing Falls

It starts as a cold mountain stream originating high in the Mithral Mountains. The stream works its way down out of the mountains gaining more streams until it is a large river when it reaches the cliff face over looking Mossy Rocks Cove where it falls into a clear pool hundreds of feet below. The water starts its fall at the top of a cliff that is rounded the first fifty to one hundred feet. It has worn a groove in the rock as this white churning water starts its mad run to oblivion. The locals call this area the Raven's Shoulder.

The ancient Sharadon Forest, home of the Wolf riders.

The Sharadon is a large forest, trees and brush as far as the eye can see. The coastal Redwood trees there are ancient and massive, and for the most part, the forest is untouched. The Wolfs and their riders made use of a clearing in the center of the wooden haven, and so the soil is clean and full of nutrients. There are few paths through the tough and thick underbrush, the only entrance to the Riders homes is through dangerous trap ridden paths.

The forest is full of life; deer and all kinds of wild animals roam free in the land around the homes.

The Sharadon plains

The grass is dark green in colour reflecting the abundance of life within it, nothing else is seen for miles. A gentle wind coming from the northeast causes its dance, forms rolling wave after wave and the traveller seems to traverse a grassy sea as wide as the ocean. The eagle is drawing into the sapphir blue sky, no noise other than the booming of the wind in the high grass is heard in the width of the Sharadon Plains. The Injèrá is burning down and its light is reflected in every shiny stalk of the grass, producing an unreal shimmering of the air.

Sharadon Lake

A simple spring closer to the mountain area of the forest, filled with fish and other still water life. The majestic water is so fresh and clear one would easly peer from a cliff top and see the deepest reaches of the lake, the water contains some healing abilities within it as well. If one was poisoned, drinking of the lake would slowly drain the poison from his body. If one was injured by flesh, he would simply bath in it and the wound would almost emediatly begin healing.

The Peninsula Of Krull

Where does one begin describing this festering sore upon the world? Some would say, the most dangerous, others the most mysterious, still others places that treasures may lay. Let us start from the point that civilization leaves off and the corruption begins. The closest civilized people and those with the worst memories of the place are the Wolf Riders and the Woodland elves.

The first thing a traveler will notice is that the green scrub and grass quickly becomes sickly and yellow looking. Then, with but a few minutes of travel, one comes to almost a line that marks the beginning of the Dead Lands, as the Elven people have named the plains. At this line, all of the plants go from yellow to black, it is rumored that the line of death and decay slowly moves closer to the towns. Many report hearing ghostly howls echoing across the plains, and these are the lucky ones, for quite a few adventurers are set upon soon after by misshapen wolves of enormous size. Injerín scholars believe that these are the same wolves that were once used as mounts by the armies of Eckra the Cruel. The past few decades have seen a resurgence of these packs. Although very close in apperance to the western riders, these creatures are larger and much more scragly. Their fur matted with ancient dried blood, and the riders muchmore barbaric with the flesh and bones of their prey hinged to their bodys as clothing.

Little known to most but the Wolf Rider tribes of the west, but their ancestors too once served under the cruel whip of the mighty Sorcerer Eckra. But eventualy escaping his tyrancey, they fled to the councel of elves and had bestowed upon them a mystical forest in which to live free of human evils.

If one first survives the several days ride in these “Dead Lands”, then they will come upon the forest known as the Folkmore Trees. In all truth this can not even be called a forest; for all that remains of that once re-grown place are endless blackened trunks and splinters of trees. This continues far into the horizon and creates a place for beasts to hide in the shadows and wait upon those that might enter their realm. Older elves make a journey of remembrance to this place and go into the depth of the forest to visit the ruins of their city Parthenon.

Blackened rubble and desiccated woodland is all that remains of this once proud example of the merger of nature and Xeuá magics. What once was a regular journey for elders, is now a seldom done thing due to the increasing dangers to be found there. Adventurers though, flock to this place to fight all manner of the foul thing that has now taken up residence here. Those that return, do in fact come back with some treasures, though many will say that it was not worth the loss of friends, nor the nightmares that will forever haunt them.

Very few people travel further eastward, deeper into the peninsula and the horror it contains. A vile river of filth, aptly named the Ebony River flows from the Ebony Lake, and cuts across the land like a knife. It is well known that the waters are not to be drunk, nay they are not to even be touched. For, the very waters which run black as night will boil your skin away should you touch them, and if you dare drink them, then your very stomach will melt and run out of you taking your bowels with it.

Luckily though, there are some points where the river narrows enough to allow a strong steed to jump from one bank to another. Never go near the lake for strange reptiles with thick, mottled scales inhabit it, somehow immune to the poisons it contains. Long razor sharp tongues flick out and can catch a horse at full gallop, slicing it in half. Stay furthest to the south if you dare to journey onward.

Now the Forbidden Zone, so named for it is believed that Eckra forbade the very ground to give life to any living thing. The earth is cracked and dust flies about constantly. No sign of bush nor weed can be found. The very earth cracks with ones footsteps, causing even more dust to fly. It is as if the harsh, gritty, dust attempts to carry on Eckra's orders.

There is not a single place that it will not invade. Armament, clothing, eyes, throat, all things are prey to its invading force. Whether it is simply the now exhausted mind or some lingering effects of foul magics, but the heat of the sun is enough to crack and blister skin. A man's brain may fry until not even his sanity is left to him.

If an adventurer is so lucky, or more likely, so cursed he will be living still. Creeping out like a deadly fog, a mesmerizing power will then draw them to the above ground remains of Tak'Dinal. Like a brooding master it sits elevated on an immense plateau. Stone the color of midnight, enormous craters, and downward spiriling staircases to oblivion is all that will greet your eyes.

Only a few of the strongest Injerin mages have survived this pull. All others have met their death in the depth, or worse they have been subverted into the very creatures that they had been fighting the whole of the way. If one so dares to travel to the Peninsula of Kr'uul, they better say their goodbyes for they will likely die there.

Human City Carmalad

Just between these dark lands and the western territorys lays a human city, once a proud, strong city, the busy town is now the continental center for cloth and cloth dying. Along the borders of the city one will see vast walls with which the Royal Guard held off Mertogran’s forces for two months in the year 833 b.S. There are seven long, single lane markets that wind around the city, selling mainly cloth, but also fish pulled from the Adanian Sea.

The simple wooden housing they reside in is spread out, surrounding the main market places. The Carmaladians live in simple, wood based houses. They decorate their houses though with intricate pieces of woodworking, made by their Enthronian brothers

Elven Forest

The Paeleon is an ancient forest. The Elven people settled here after an argument between Avásh'aelía, the Bone Queen, and the Móch'rónn Saban, which caused the pair to go seperate ways in the year 11.750 b.S.

The forest floor receives very little direct light. Though at parts the wood is very rocky, mosses and fungi are abundant on the forest floor. Fortunately the soil is very rich, and small shrubs grow abundantly at the roots of the many ancient trees. The trees of the Paelelon are aweing as well, their girth is far more than a man can reach his arms around. Most notable is that they are quite bare of elven homes; the elves prefer to live close to the earth.

The forest is full of life, albeit a dark life. The animals of this forest are not much different from the animals of other forests, save their eyes are more adjusted for the lack of light. The wildlife is timid here, it scatters quickly at foreign noises, and is hard to spot. But if one is still in the forest long enough, the forest awakens with life unseen to the traveller's eye.

The homes of the Elves that reside here are quite unique. They stay rather close to the ground; the highest ranking members of the colonies live among the roots of the grandest trees.

Elven Falls

Looking like a hand emerging from the earth as though to keep the water for itself, these falls are strange and seem to reflect ones inner desires.

It would not be wise to drink of it, being not of Elven origon these waters would drive any man insain. As the water rests within them their deepest desires seem to manifest before them, then slowly become more nightmarish as the days drag on.
