We all know the book has a part called Narn i hin Hurin (with accents, I'm lazy). What I want to know is, the full book of that story, is it longer, more detailed or something? 'Cause it was on the news and it looked quite thick, and I was thinking of getting it, but I have Unfinished Tales, so is it any different?

No. it's pretty much the same thing.
Actually, when I read Unfinished Tales, they had more of the story in there. (You know, at the end after Turin dies)
The only reason you'd probably want CoH in it's own book is for the artwork.

Galad Damodred And to complete your collection, of course. I approve of your signature. Yeah, I got Children of Húrin for that reason. Plus the artwork is pretty. Plus it's more detailed. Plus I work in a bookstore and it was on sale. biggrin

More beatiful Alan Lee artwork is one of the reasons (The others being that I'm not going to spend $15 on a copy of Roverandom, that's only about a quarter-inch thick and that I haven't read The Adventures of Tom Bombadil) I'm going to get Tales from the Perilous Realm, the new short story compilation.
Oh, and Galad will be happy to know that I borrowed a copy of Brisingr from a friend and read it that way.
