But FYI: IF your going to connect a direct line (which I see no reason why if you have WiFi in your house) you need an adapter

What you have to do is get a Nintendo Wi-Fi Adapter for the computer. All you have to do is buy it and install it on your computer, and then set up ur internet on ur Wii. You just go to the Internet thing on ur Wii and click on an empty slot, then click Nintendo Wi-Fi Adapter, then wait till it finds it. You have to have the computer no more than 30 feet away from the Wii, otherwise it won't work. It worked for me! But you have to have ur computer on while ur on the Wii. I hope that helps you
