X.A.P. role play guidelines and rules

Welcome to the world of the XAP (ZAP). XAP means... X = Xanthine (definition= A feebly basic compound that occurs in animals.) A = Active, and P = Person...
A XAP is pretty much a animal/person mix. I will explain the origin of the XAP below...

Background...

Only a few people get blessed with being a XAP. They are called XAP because they acquire some traits of a certain animal. Whenever a XAP wants, and sometimes doesn't want, to use these animal traits, it is available. Not only can you tell a XAP from their power they have, but also their appearance includes an animal trait. For example; a XAP may have ears, a tail, whiskers, claws, fangs, gills, fins, hooves, wings, etc, depending on what their animal/power is. Once a XAP is born the baby is taken from the hospital, and the parents are told that their child has passed away. The babies are taken to a designated area specially for XAPs, their existence must not be known. The babies are raised by an older XAP that finds them. Once a XAP reaches the age of 5.5, they are made a house which they share with 3 other XAPs. They must live on their own, with no family. Nowadays XAPs believe that babies appear on a doorstep, from their God. The generation of XAPs that knew of humans has long died out. XAPs are kept in a forest, in a 500X500 square mile inclosure covered by a dome. There is no weather in the dome. Only the government knows these beings exist. In the human world, stories of "animal people" have become fantasy. Only a XAP knows the truth...

Rules:

- Your character must be 15-19 years old
- You must have animal traits
- Your character's name must be the japanese word for the animal thats traits it
possesses (here's a link to a translator http://www.freedict.com/onldict/jap.html)
- No using the same animal as someone else... first come first serve! NO
EXCEPTIONS
- No being perfect
- Do NOT center the role play around yourself
- You will be put randomly in a house
- No cybering and keep love affairs to a minimum (it get annoying!)

Other Rules:

- You cannot make contact with humans
- You must live in the house chosen for you (it will make things quite
interesting ninja )
- You can't leave the XAP area
- You must attend school

Starter:

It is a cold, dreary day at the Carma Caner school for XAPs. All the XAPs are sitting at their desks in their classes. The XAPs are bored, listening to the constant drone of their teachers; it's a day just like any other. XAPs are anxiously eying the clock as it nears dismissal time. Then, suddenly, the bell rang, a shrill noise that all teenage XAPs love. Dismissal time! The XAPs shot up from their seats and started to exit their classrooms. CLANG!!! SHWUMP!!! The doors lock and metal comes out from the ceilings and floors, enclosing the doors in unbreakable steel. A raspy voice comes over the intercom, "BzZzZzZt! All students are required to st-y in their classrooms. No st--ent will be leaving school grounds." Gasps of surprise arise from the crowd of disappointed XAPs. "We have discovered a bl-ck cloud, in-s-de the d-d-ome. Stay c-lm and don't panic. Teachers stay with y--r classes. Moderators, to the office immediately." Nothing like this had ever happened in the history of XAPs...
