 So I finally saved 500k that will go to prize gold for an art contest I wanna hold, and now I made another 100k to get some sample art for the contest~ |D I'm so proud of myself. xD I usually always have trouble keeping a hold of my gold. >3> I'm gonna miss having 6 digits in my gold count though once I get around to finishing my contest though. gonk
But yeah, I've been saving gold since around the beginning of December I think. P: If I get my gold from doing an auction commission for my ABer, I may end up trying my hand at exchanging sealeds or something..
Anywho, don't you love feeling that sense of accomplishment for having saved up either gold or real money to buy something? [like a car, a computer, a toy, etc.]
And has anyone here ever held an art contest on Gaia? o 3o
If so, any tips for me? xD

Congrats...I have a hard time saving gold. -blew through 180k in three days, blew through nearly 400k at christmas-

i used to have 700k, but i was hacked of course emo know i am working my way back to the top 1 gold at a time. 3nodding 3nodding and i hope i can get back up there, because right now i am broke gonk

xD The only time I've ever had six digits in my gold was when I won 100k from the guild. The most I've ever saved by myself is probs 20k.
I do feel proud of myself when I save up for something, especially now that I don't have a job, then its really an accomplishment.

I hear it's quite a bit of work..but tends to be well worth it in the end.
I'm saving up currently as we speak. No more donating to charities until I get a good amount. All my money, vending and trades go to the MADG.

@ZOMGAsa: I do avatar art for gold, I sold a LOT of commons that I never used, and also sold some MCs that I didn't use either, and I then I managed to get a few donations, and I eventually got 500k. >.>;
@Bella: It definitely seems like plenty of work. xD; Right now I'm in the process of actually understanding how it all works... >.>; I finally managed to write up all the text I'll need for my posts and now I gotta either find someone to make me some banners or make them myselves...and I also had to pay someone to make me some samples of the OCs that I want drawn for the contest. xD;

i had to start a new account and now im back to 22k. 4laugh i mainly get it by going to towns or playing word bump

[ ] I remember when I was so excited about reaching 10k for the first time back in 2005. Coco Kitty Plushies (Or was it Kiki Kitty Plushies?) were less than 20k at the time and I really wanted one, so I guess that was my motivation for saving up. xd
In real life, I felt really accomplished when I bought my own PSP, Nintendo DS, and iPod Nano. All at different times, of course. I don't make money very quickly. []
