Types of Positions
Just so things are clear on what each role entails, and what certain people can and can't do.
1. General Moderator (Crew)
People with Gen-Mod status are responsible for the policing of forums. They have the power to move topics, and to delete those that breach the rules. They can intervene in arguments between general members, but do not have to power to issue bannings.
Gen-Mods do not have to power to perform promotions, demotions or bannings. If they see a member they think should be either promoted, demoted or banned, they can contact a Priv-Mod saying so. The Priv-Mod will then look at the situation and come to a decision. If you, as a Gen-Mod or the member that is under speculation do not feel that the verdict is fair, then say so to the Priv-Mod that is overlooking your promotion/demotion/banning. He/she will then take the matter to myself, the Captain.
Each crew member will be assigned a certain part of the guild to deal with. This does not mean they are restricted to just that area, but that that is their main priority.
Prerequisites: Must be active, available to post most days of the week and be able to do work that is assigned to them. So people with very heavy workloads at school/work I advise you don't apply.
2. Privileged Moderator (Vice-Captain)
Priv-Mods have all the same power as Gen-Mods, but can also ban members. They are to advise and direct Gen-Mods where necessary, but are not to overly interfere and dictate to them.
Vice-Captains have power over all of the forums.
Prerequisites: Must of reached the status of Gen-Mod and been there for a minimum of one week.
3. God Moderator (Captain)
The God-Mod is all supreme here, and all over Gaia. What he/she says is final, it is law. They have all the powers of Gen and Priv Mods, but also the added bonuses of being able to turn water into wine and walk on water.
There can only be one God-Mod.
With power, comes great responsibility, and a lot of hard work, but also laziness. The Captain sits back and directs his crew. Intervening wherever and whenever he wishes.
Only the Captain may promote people to and from the position of Priv-Mod.
Prerequisites: Must be severely charming, intelligent and a leader.
