A bit about you: I'm 17 (turned 17 in January), and I've planned on going into the military largely as a way to pay for college, but also as a start into a post-military political career. I don't know how much I can say directly about what I (will) do or how I scored, but I did very well on the ASVAB, got entered at a relatively high rank with a high bonus for the job I wanted to have, so I'm happy with it.

Hi, my real name is Sarah but you can call me Nitro, Bear, or hey you.
I have lived 18.5 years on this earth, so I am old enough to know better, but still young enough to not have learned fully.
I have the honor of being in the United States Navy. Although I have been active in Air Force JROTC.
I will be going active duty in the next few months in the US Navy, but I have been in the Sea Cadets and JROTC since God filled the oceans.
I have signed my life away for 6 years active, but plan on being in the US Navy longer then that. I have been in the NSCC for 9 years, and AFJROTC for 4.

How long I have been in: As of right now, 2 years and... 2 months
How long I plan to be in: I have about 4 years left, that will probably be it, unless I go green and become a warrant! eek
A bit about me: I like to joke around and have fun, but I know when to get serious. I get to work with UAV's and other such interesting things, and when I'm not at work I play all sorts of video/online games. I deployed for 7 months to Iraq, I volunteered for it. It was probably the best experience of my life, although some parts straight up sucked. But that's how it works eh? I got home in the early spring a few months ago, but I still find myself showering sometimes just because I can. mrgreen
