The War of Moons

(Here's Starter RP #3! Enjoy)!




Plot:

It is 324IA, and the werewolves have gone mad! The Three Moons are aligned overhead, and villagers' screams echo throughout the night, as the Lupines' attacks worsen. The Royal Family has heard the cry of the villagers, and have decided to declare war on the werewolves! They have sent soldiers of the Royal Guard to every corner of the Lupine Province!

The werewolves fight viciously and mercilessly, but their power weakens as daybreak draws near..

And there it is, after hours of the senseless massacre: dawn.
The werewolves look up at the sunlight breaking through the trees, and shiver as they feel their immense power draining from them. The Guard take advantage of this moment, and slash through the werewolves with everything they have. One third of them were slaughtered, and the others retreat to the shadows of the Province. The Guard is victorious.



Now, 400 years later, the Three Moons have once again come into alignment. Only this time, it shall last...

The Werewolves have stolen an infant human from a nearby village, and have raised it as their own. They have taught it all of the dark magicks that they had learned over the years from the Necromancers of the Black Woode, and finally, the human has grown into a powerful Mage.

Now, on the night of the Three Moons, the young mage looks to the sky, surrounded by his werewolf brethren, and casts a powerful spell. The clouds are punctured, as the violet-coloured lightning snakes through the sky. Suddenly, it is as though the sky itself were paralyzed. The clouds stop moving, and the wind ceases to blow.. Even the stars seem petrified as they stare down blankly from the black sky above. The werewolves howl triumphantly, and begin, once again, to pillage and feast upon the villagers nearby. What's more, many have crossed into other Terrains through way of the Perennial Mountain Range...

With the power of the Three Moons, the werewolves are unstoppable. For one year, this eternal darkness has lasted, as no Mage since has been able to undo the powerful spell. And those that could, did not wish to...


Now, I ask you.. Who shall return light to the Western Province, and bring an end to the werewolves' chaos...?
