Today, I decided to write a LotR fanfic. But not just any. A slash fanfic.

I started happily enough; it is entitled "For Love of Dreams" and details a romantic relationship between Irmo of the Valar and Maglor, son of Fëanor (before he got all Oath-of-Fëanor-y). 'Cuz Maglor's a musician (aka, an artist, a visionary and a dreamer) and Irmo is the "master of dreams and visions".

However, when I told my friend Joshua, he tried to punch me in the face.

I wasn't targeting you Gally, I was just talking generally....I know you're a good writer..even without reading your work (??? xP).

You can prove your worth as a writer in our eyes if you let us read it....(hint hint xD). Serious though, no pressure if you don't want to.
