Plot:

To: Fie'rgynn of the Opaline Dragon Clan
Time: 3:60, Perunusk 10th, 978IA

The Fire Elemental cult of Eden's hidden underground city have waged war on us here at Xyon. Our soldiers are evenly matched with their own. Fire against Fire. They must have used their Antlions and Sand Dragons to build the tunnels and ambush us. We have fought endlessly for twenty-five years, and are nearing the end of the twenty-sixth. Please, alert the other Dragon clans: We need your help. Our numbers are all that we have against them. It is as though they do not cease to have energy to fight. Most, if not all, of their soldiers fighting today have not moved since the war began. This is urgent.

"Have you written the letter, Arbitrator," inquired Subsidiary Khilan.
"Indeed, I have. I am sealing it now," replied Gelakk as he folded the message and pressed Xyon's symbol into the traditional Naga wax. He then handed the letter to the messenger, "Here. Make haste, Subsidiary; We should have sent for their help long ago."
Khilan accepted the letter and gave a swift, yet respectful bow before taking his leave.
Gelakk stood to return the gesture and as the messenger exited the tent, the Arbitrator followed suit and proceeded into the heat of battle.

~Fei'rgynn, m'lord,~ a youngling called out as he swooped frantically into the mountain cavern.
~What is it, Whiteye,~ replied Fei'rgynn with a wise, yet hearty smirk.
The Greenhorn flitted around anxiously, obviously quite proud of his position as messenger, ~I have a letter for you! It's from Xyon! I think they're at war, m'lord!~ The youngling reached into his message pouch and pulled out a bit of parchment sealed by Xyon's trademark vanilla-colored wax.
With furrowed brow, Fei'rgynn accepted the letter and broke the seal. He then spoke to the youngling once more, ~Send word to the other clans: We are traveling to Xyon.~

The eyes of the youngling widened and he obediently flew off to do his duty. Meanwhile, Fei'rgynn let out a shallow breath and moved across the room to the balcony. Staring at the sky he mentally prepared for the actions he was too take in the near future.
