Sailor Moon Role-Playing Game and Resource Book

Before saying anything else, please just let me point out
that this thread does indeed belong here and not in the RP forum,
because it discusses a piece of merchandise and not a Gaia-based RP.

So there's this book, apparently,
which is totally awesome, but weird because I never even knew it ever existed
and I have never, ever heard anyone here mention or talk about it.
I only learned of it yesterday, when I saw an ad for it in an old Sailor Moon comic book.

I found a used copy on the Barnes & Noble site,
so it should be delivered to my house in a few days!

but the supply looks VERY limited so ACT FAST!!)

I'm a D&D player (LOLNERD), so this was immediately appealing to me.

So, who here has this, or knows of it?
Anyone played the game, or used its character creation formula to build a character?
I've never participated in a Gaia-based RP, but this sounds like the sort of material
that a Sailor Moon fan and RPer would just adore.

Also, apparently it's THE HUGEST source of Sailor Moon info available in print form in the U.S.

Needless to say, I'll be very excited and looking for boxes on my front porch within a few days' time.

i own the book. it's currently packed away right now but it's very interesting. i didn't realize what i was buying when i bought it though.

i can't remember what system it's based off of, but i'm recently getting into DnD so i'll probably unpack it soon and reread it. heehee.

The character creation formula is truly diverse!
I was able to whip up a unique character in seconds.

That's neat. DnD(Dungeons and Dragons) style games can be fun, but they take ages. Is it like DnD in the way that you can do anything? Like, how my friend had to spend half a game with a Dire boar tusk lodged in his gut because if they removed it he would die? Or the VG Cats Rat Flail?

Siren: Character building, I assume, means when you create your character and all the points you gain for stat increases with various skill level ups and level ups.

More like As stuff happens, it effects the character. The VG Cats rat flail was because one o them was only allowed a stick. So he beat a rat to death with it and tied it by it's tail to the stick.

sweet i finally found some people that like dnd 2 my step-dad tried getting me into it and after awhile i tried making a final fantasy 7 version. lol
