Lost planet: Survival ((NO LONGER ACCEPTING))

((This is based off an older rp that my girlfriend did that was based off an anime.))

plot: The year is 2689, tecnology is well on its way and space travel is now an everyday thing. But the earth is dwindling and humanity has yet to find a new home. Pluto high school is going on a field trip to the mars base when the space cruiser gets caught in a gravity storm and has to go into warp, all passengers are sent to the emergency escape pods. A group of teens get into one of the pods together and right before the ship gose into warp, their pod detatches from the cruiser and gets sucked up in the storm. Opon leaving the storm the pod's computers and auto piolet are down, now the pod is geting pulled into the gravity well of a strange planet, will the teens survive?

bio: Alex was an orphan, he survived from age 12 he faked his ID and went into High school. Keeping out of the spot light, he never got caught, but they were catching up to him right before the fieldtrip. He's not sure he wants to go back, as they're quite close and he's sure that they'll have enough evidence to catch him when he gets back.

bio: Laura grew up in a wealthy family, and was put into a private school. She however refused to go unless she could go to a regular school, she was always a tomboy in her early years, much to the dislike of her parents. But they wished for her to have the best, and let her join the public school. In grade 11 she was drawn to Alex and they started going out. Her parents hated the idea of her dating Alex, and tried to force her to dump him. She refused and when they tried harder, she ran off with him for a week, leaving a note: "I'll be back when you can accept my choice". When she returned, her parents refused to talk to her, however, they did come around, realizing her choice was her choice. And of course, she had threatened to run away again.

Sam yelled as she stood up and saw the planet coming up fast. "Oh no! what're we going to do?! Dose anyone know how to fly?" She said turning in a panic to the others.

Mihori Rushed to the window and stared at the fire that was building along the front of the ship as they entered the atmosphere. "The nose is to low, the ship wont land right."

"Well we can't just sit here and do nothing!" Jack said, sitting in the pilot seat and pulling up and the controls, hearing the craft creak against the pressure of falling down. "Damnit, come on!"

Mihori looked down at the controls and quickly pressed sevral buttons, the windows covered over with a heat resistant metal and the pod started to move more eaisily. "We need to find the cooling system, Ive never seen these kind of controls....damn." He looked carfully. "Keep the nose level, if it drops you'll kill all of us." He looked at Sam. "You help him keep the ship in check."

Sam nodded and jumped into the passenger seat and took hold of the controls holding them steady as best she could.

He grinned lightly in his seat. "Oh thanks for the pressure." He kept the nose level, but saw debris from the main ship falling around them. "We need to set this thing down soon, or we're gonna get knocked out of the sky."

"....I cant find the cooling system, we'll burn up if the ship dosnt cool....." He said as the ship started to get increesingly warm.

Sam looked at Jack with a smile. "Dont worry we can land this puppy."

"No, we won't." He said calmly, his eyes opening a bit wider. A white mist flowed from around his hand and went onto the metal of the plane. A thin layer of ice formed around the ship just as the metal around them was turning red. He leaned back and closed his eyes. "Damn, I hate doing that."

Mihori stared at him then glared. "You have nanites in you...." He grit his teeth and turned away.

Sam stared in wonder and smiled. "Wow, Iv never seen anyone do that before." eek biggrin

[ahh! sorry, I'm heading off to bed atm razz this'll be my only post for the night]

Alex cringed as the pod shook, "well this is fun" he said to himself, holding Laura tight. He looked around, most of the people were scared, they should be, he was. "Nice moves" Alex shouted over the roar as one of the kids did something wired. Alex didn't really care at the moment. Life came in different ways, he chuckled at that thought, provoking a confused look from Laura.

How does he always manage to smile in times like these laura thought to herself as she held Alex tighter. She had seen Alex in way to many fights to be scared of that, but this was something new to her. She felt Alex pull her in more as the pod shook again. He was scared, in fact, she was sure he was always scared. But he knew how to control fear, unlike her. She envied him for having a life totally opposite of hers. At least he knows his way around the street. She didn't have a clue what the 'real world' was like before she met him.

"Yeah, i have nanites..." he said calmly, eyes still closed. Now that the ship had broken the atmosphere, it was a lot smoother riding.

((Alright, I gess Ill go watch tv then, no one is on anymore... sweatdrop ))

Mihori pressed a light blue button and the metal lifted from the windows, only to reveal a large piller of rock right in front of them.

Sam was 1st to respond, she pulled the stearing control to the left. The ship turned but alittle to late, the left wing was torn off and the ship hit the rocks below had.
Mihori, whom was standing flew forward and into the glass of the window breaking right through it. .....Everything was black.

Shizuru kept to herself and stayed quite while chaos arose for a moment. She wanted to help, but couldn't bring herself to ask. The whole scenario was too unfamiliar for her to stabilize herself. It felt like a dream that she couldn't wake up from. Her red hair was covering one of her eyes as she sat in a corner of the escape pod, her arms in front of her chest to distance herself from everyone else. She felt useless, but too unchangable to do anything. She was disgusted with her pathetic self, and just waited for commands. She was never very good at preforming actions without a command.

Alex and Laura tumbled over as the ship was hit. Laura screamed and held onto Alex tighter. "s**t!" Alex shouted slamming into the seat in front of him. He dragged himself up, Laura protesting loudly as he struggled towards the front. "Left!" he shouted leaning on the man at the pilot seat. The ship veared slightly and the smashed into a rock that didn't' look like it was there before. The right wing sheared off along with adding a small tear though the hull. The momentum forced the ship into a spin. The engine cut out a second after that, just before it was smashed off by another rock. The compartment rocked and then rolled as the ship hit ground.

Laura began to cry as Alex moved towards the front. She had seen what happened to the other and didn't want Alex to suffer the same fate. She was crying, but she couldn't bring herself to do nothing. She stumbled forward as the right wing was sheared off and she fell into Sam's back. "Ow!" she shouted before the pod rolled, throwing her to the roof and knocking her out.

Sam shivered and opened heer eyes, She looked at the ship and saw it was torn and they had crashed in the middle of a large body of water, as fast as she could she ran back to check on Shizuru. "Are you okay?" She asked while checking her over.
