And then playing on Resident Evil.

Alas, my living in Canada means that:
a. I know not of this 'Memorial Day' of which you speak, and
b. It snowed/hailed today. >_<.

I would have killed to stay home, play some Resident Evil...

I'd shout some whole complicated plan about playing Resident Evil online, but the day I got an online PS2, I found out the servers were taken down. >_<.

And I'm kind of in the same boat as you, Anita...I was supposed to go to Ottawa this month, but I'm a deadbeat, so..

Yuuh, how s**t is that >_< No online-ness.
I was meant to be in like... France.
But I am jobless and therefore do not have the £200 odd to get the train there.
Plus I still have an exam left to do next week.
So I guess here is better....

To be honest I do not celebrate it, I am silently thankful for it though.
A day of memory is always the best I think. ^_^
One time my mum bought dinner for two strangers that were in the Army, that was awesome, we all cried for some reason. <.<;;

We don't really have a day to thank military people, we have remembrance days and stuff though.
Meh, I think we all appreciate them, we just don't have a specific day to show the appreciation.

|•|Every year my mother's side of the family all meet up, have dinner at my cousins house then go to the cemetery where most of the family is buried and spend time talking abut stuff for hours and hours until it starts to get dark. I was supposed to go again this year, but they left without me. >_<; So, I ended up just laying around all day.

Usually all we do is go see a movie, we don't
have any military people in my family. However this year, I had to go
to state solo and ensemble for band - but hey, I got a free trip out of it!
