Your drawing (and more specifically, your colouring) is very similar to to one of my friend's. He does an online comic that is pretty cool.

but really what I did for the colouring and shading was I used the lasso tool and boxed out a section at a time and used the gradiant tool to create a shaded effect... and then I used the smudge and the blur tool to spread it out and create a different look...
... Aside from those tools... I used the paintbrush tool....
