It took me two days to finish, I was so happy. This is my first attempt on making a cake! <333 I took the pictures this morning and photoshop'd the image to get the lighting effects and overlapping. : D
That better not be scented, or I might actually eat that. >_>

The stitching et al seems to be very well done, and I love the shaping, it looks just like a real cake. x3
I am wondering how you made the little dollop of whipped cream on top or whatever it is, though. It's so nicely shaped, but I don't see how you'd get it to stay that way. Is it stitched?
Yummy yummy cake. I especially like the white accent on the top smile
Thank you, I felt proud after the process of making the cream; it took me a while to do it. ^^

^_^ Thank you so much!
Yes, it is stitched. I used this guide for the cream:

If it weren't made out of felt, I'd claim that it is good enough to eat!
One small quip: I would have sewn the white part with white thread instead of brown for the thread to vanish. I notice that at the tip of the chocolate silk pie.

Also, I don't speak French, but Tres Bien!
XD Lol, thank you!
Oh, you're right. :'o Thanks a lot, I can use your advice for future reference; thank you! ^^
Haha, neither do I but I'm taking classes; merci beacoup.

XD!
I didn't use a pattern for the cake itself[/excluding the cream]. I observed the piece and thought, "oh, this goes there, this goes here, etc."
You just make triangles and sides to make it 3d, I'm sorry I couldn't help on that one.
