New Official Portable Resident Evil Discussion Thread

Ok, so. Being a RE fan, I try to keep up and buy as many games of the series as possible. One version of the game, RE: Deadly Silence, a port of the original to the NDS handheld system allows me to enjoy my RE fix on the move, anyplace I wish, anytime. But, now I'd like to talk about a possible follow up to the handheld version. Come'on Capcom, give me the 2nd one. Or at leaste think about the online game ported to the DS. RE Convoy, it's a fun online game, but unfortunatly, for some resone it will no longer download for me. No more RE online, bummer. I think with the features of the DS, Resident Evil Convoy could take advantage of the NDS' features, and of course, let the PSP kids have a version too.

Anyone else, wanting another handheld version?

Oh well, I'm making this the official Portable Resident Evil Discussion thread.

As for another handheld version. If they made a direct port of RE2, 3 or even Code Veronica, I'd definitely invest in it.
But knowing Capcom, if they were to make an original RE title for a portable, it'll be another over the shoulder RE4 clone. I wouldn't bother with that.

I'd go apeshit if they had a DS port of Code: Veronica. Especially if new content was included. I would also love Resident Evil 1.5 DS, but sadly that's never going to happen. sad

If that was the case we wouldn't have even had RE4. I don't think Capcom has EVER listened to their fans. They just got it right a first few times.
