heart ... Autumn leaves fall and are swept out of sight ...

I can't believe I've even thought about this ...

Earlier on today I got to thinking that every time I come across a newbie to classical voice and I'm feeling mischievous, I direct them to Florence Foster Jenkins. Then I started wondering what pieces, composers and other performers in classical music are / were unpleasant enough to be used as a Rick Roll.

As I'm not as knowledgeable about the classical world as most people presume, I'm asking you. XD What or who would you use to make a classical Rick Roll on someone, given the chance?

To be fair, I actually commend FFJ; she may have constantly sung off pitch and sounded like a banshee with a cold but that - and everyone else's arguments - didn't stop her from persuing her dreams.

... So are the memories of love that we knew ... heart

Hah. xd
I'm not especially savvy of the classics, either, and if I hear a bad tune, I don't usually listen to the end, but I just looked up and listened to dear FloFoJen butcher Mozart's "Queen of the Night," and I think you may have picked the very best possibility. razz

That Portsmouth symphony was BAD, but artistically bad. That's what makes it unique. Hey, have you ever heard PDQ Bach? It's genius, but it's funny enough to be a rick roll. If you do not understand music and the way it flows, it won't be too funny. But, if you understand that for example, every conflict sound needs a resolution, and you find that you DON'T get that in PDQ Back, you'll love him. Here's a few links.

There is more, if you look around. Hope you enjoy.
