anyone live in japan? or even want to go to japan?

i am going to japan after my Christmas brake and i want to know what i should know about japan and things i shouldn't! so please help me out??

I studied abroad there and lived with a host family for a semester in college three years ago. Which part are you going to? I studied in Osaka and lived near Hirakata-shi. I can answer questions about the Kansai and part of the Chiba areas and Hiroshima and Miyajima, but that is about all I got to see, which is a lot actually.

DEFINITELY bring WARM clothes though, I feel like even though I lived in Osaka, and it's a southern part of the island, I was FREEZING end of November, and I'm a Colorado native. Though, I believe our latitudes are somewhat close. Anyway, bring warm clothes, money and a camera! Those are the best three things I think!
