Ah, there's nothing quite like the classics. whee Or like taking over an entire row of real estate blocks and crushing the opposition! Muahahaha!! Ahem, anyway...there are a variety of different versions of this game, but they all have the same setup and basics, and they all teach you the value of the money and the importance of planning your real estate acquisitions. xd I've got a Lord of the Rings set and a Peanuts set, and my brother has a Pokemon set, and they're all fun! whee

Currently we own: LOTR Monopoly, Star Wars Monopoly, Disney Monopoly, NFL Monopoly(that's my little brothers though-I have sports xD), and the newest one we've gotten is Here & Now: Around the World Monopoly.

I have the original Monopoly and I think one other but my brain is a little shot right now and I don't feel like getting up and checking. lol However, I do enjoy the game it helped me learn to count, hate Boardwalk, and love the country. stare *laughs* Seriously it's a fun game but not something to play all the time I think. And yeah I think I was being serious about what I learned from that game though I did learn that money talks and if you ain't got cash find a hole or keep quiet. 3nodding

@Moonracer: Monopoly is a great way to learn!! Due to that & Yahtzee I got much better at Math. I'd have probably failed my math classes had it not been for those games. >_<;;; Math is such a tough subject for me.

I hear ya Rini. I definitely got better at my math because of board games, but I still hate math it's a pain. You I think both you and purple are right I think a Harry Potter Monopoly would be fun! They should do that!

My husband always wins when we play. >_<;; It gets annoying after a while. But, it's still nice to play every now and then.
I wonder why they haven't made a Harry Potter one yet? They've made all sorts of others. O_o; Heck they even have some that are based from car brands...so why the heck not HP!??!?
