I'm sure I'm not the only one here who knows of this composer. He is extremely famous in Texas for some reason, and I happen to have an example of his work called Give Us This Day which is about the hot topic of Texas high schools. You can also find videos of his symphonies on youtube if you're interested in this wonderful music.
