question What's with all the Links?

Link's Awakening (as you may or may not know) was a side-scroller, like most other 2D Zelda games. So you'd only be able to get one square of the map at a time. This map was comprised of screenshots, so it only stands to reason that there be a Link for every square.

Oh I thought they made this by pulling the sprites and tiling the entire island.
