Simple

If only I could describe
A less hectic day like that
But my friends will bribe
My imagination until it takes flight

Flight that makes truth thinly stretched
To untold limits of fun and fear.
Where nothing is too farfetched
And impossibility is nowhere in sight


If only I could tell you.
Tell you of an hour of silence
With a pen, black or blue,
And a pad of paper, blank or lined.

An hour where that is all.
All that I need
To ignore complication's call
and keep my sanity contained.


In only I could express
What a minute of silence
Where evil's quiet caress
holds no power.

Power to control or use
A life or an idea
that can be mishapened through the abuse
that comes from a doubtful shower.


If only I could explain to you what simple means to me
then maybe just maybe
I'd truely understand it myself.

Looks like you're missing a few periods in the first stanza and a little bit in some other ones...? Maybe you did that purposely... I'm not sure.

Overall, good! I didn't even notice your rhyming until after I'd finished reading it, which is a good thing! It's not many people who can rhyme without it getting in the way of the poem. Good work!
