Ok, so I pierced my ears for the forth time, just below the cartilage, myself (I know, not the best idea), the rest were done professionally. They healed in a normal amount of time and things went on their way. However, every once in a while my left ear will flare up and appear to be infected. I'll apply Bactrium (sp) for a few days and it will be fine. My right ear does not do this and I clean my piercings every day in the shower. Any ideas why it could be doing this?

Hmm... I'm not sure WHY piercings do that, but I've had other body piercings which did the same thing. I just treated it as it happened. ._.
