-Rules- Do not find someone within the Cult and just argue with whatever it is that they say. Do not hold grudges, do not make snide comments about other members, and do not belittle a person for not knowing something that is obvious to you. We were all teh nubz once, and at one point, we did not know something that is obvious to us now.
Rule 2: Use proper English. One of the things that the Nintendo Cult tries to pride itself on is having good intelligent sounding people that can type well. This includes (but is not limited to): good sentence structure, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and knowing when is and is not a good time to use 73H 1337.
Rule 3: Use the subforums correctly. When creating a thread, make sure you place it in the right section of the Cult. Our facility is not very large, so this should not be a common problem. Please refer to the [OVERWORLD] section below for help. If you are completely unsure, try Private Messaging an online member and asking them or asking someone in the Spam Can.
Rule 4: Do not make repeat threads. When creating a new thread, look around on the first page for others that may have the same topic as yours. Rather than starting a new thread about the same topic, simply post in one if it is already established. Also, when making a thread, try to keep the title from being too ambiguous or vague.
Rule 5: Do not revive dead threads (Necroing). Necroing is the act of reviving a thread that is old, and “dead.” If a thread is much beyond the first page, the chances are the topic at hand is most likely old and done with. Do not revive a thread that is beyond the second page.
Rule 6: Do not make the following threads: -“Come here for help on *insert game* here!”
-Versus threads. (Link versus Goku, who would win?!)
-Help me in the avatar arena!
-Nintendo sucks, lololol!
-Microsoft/Sony sucks, lololol!
-Goodbye threads. If you’re going to leave, just leave. Don’t make a big drama fest about it.
-Advertising threads. If you want to advertise your guild, thread, art, etc, consult a mod via PM.
-“Official *blank* topic!” Consult a mod via PM about these, as well.
-Spam topics. "Hey guys i just took a s**t lol"
-Countdown threads. "30 days until I take a poop guyz lulz!"
Rule 7: Do not bump.If you’ve made a thread and it isn’t getting very much attention, that’s unfortunate, but you are not allowed to bump within the Nintendo Cult. Posting two times in a row is looked down upon, but no longer against the rules.
You can be banned for breaking any of these or any reason at all at any time.
