Prince of Persia (for sega genesis)
This ported version of the original game wasn't changed much when it was ported.
The storypath is basically the same and the graphics were improved though just a little.
This follows the story of the prince as he tries to reclaim the kingdom from the evil adviser (much like aladdin). You have to make your way through 13 TIMED levels. You only have 30 min to complete the entire game and if you fall and/or die you should probably just start the level over, because they do NOT give you your time back. However they do give you passwords at the start of every level so you do not have to start the WHOLE game over again.
The path is complex and the enemies are tough. There are no power-ups, heath packs, extra lives, or secrets. But still the game is very fun and a definite challenge. The traps are tricky and you have to be fast and think one step ahead of every move you make. Jumps are dangerous and must be done precisely on time. You are constantly watched by the adviser, and he occasionally sends henchmen after you and triggers a trap even.
This game can be very hard if your not used to the gameplay, but quickly becomes very fun and one of the most memorable games in your collection.
