I've been to literally about a million concerts.
I live in Hampton Roads, Virginia, and we actually have quite the classical music community brewing around us.
Concerts featuring: Itzhak Perlman [and I got a picture with him backstage too!!!!!] Yo Yo Ma Joshua Bell Gotou Midori Nina Belina [I visited her in the hospital after an accident and got to chat with her for a while] Trans Syberian Orchestra Les Ballets Trockadero [this is not supposed to be a serious performance, but they're EXTREMELY talented nonetheless - all men ballet] Marvin Hamlisch [he was fun to watch]
I know I've seen many more but can't remember to save my life...on top of which my violin teacher is part of the Williamsburg Symphonia, so I get to see his orchestra play regularly, and my mother and I are regulars at the Virginia Symphony so we see about three a year plus we see Handel's Messiah every year around christmas. So yeah..I breathe live performances, and if you guys have never seen an orchestra [I mean a full orchestra, strings, woodwinds, ALL OF THEM!] I strongly urge you to see one! The more impressive performances can bring you to tears!

`Kel` No.... crying I've never actually seen an orchestra concert, im always in them. I want to though. OH MY GOD you haven't lived!!! Where do you live!? I'll drag you to a concert!!! whee I used to be in them too, but seriously, it's SUCH a different experience watching and hearing someone else make music. And its a much richer experience in my opinion BECAUSE we've played on stage too, so you can hear all the melodies and countermelodies and really appreciate how much time goes into one performance. OH! Words can't describe lol.

I've been to tons of school recitals anc concerts, performed by the faculty and students alike. A few operas here and there, and a couple performances by the local symphony orchestra...oh, I did go to see the Yoshida Brothers when they were in town last year, and also attended a fabulous recital of J.S. Bach's WTC Book II by Angela Hewitt.
I certainly wish I got to see Itzhak Perlman and Yo Yo Ma in action! Hopefully they'll give a performance here sometime in the near future :3

I've been to a couple of Dallas Wind Symphony concerts...and i want to start going to some Dallas Symphony Orchestra concerts, since i want to learn how to play the violin. i can't really remember the pieces played at the concerts, but i remember one was called "Godzilla Eats Las Vegas" or something....it was actually really funny, even though i guess you can't really count that as classical.
