broadcassting?

So I logged on a couple months ago and decided to go update the front page of my guild, starburst, and I saw at the very bottem who can broadcast? I didn't think anything of it, but then I started to talk to my vc and she said she had no clue either..so I was wondering if you guys knew what broadcasting was all about, and if you could tell me how to do it. Here is my idea: Broadcasting is a way for the mods of the guild to send a message to it's members without sending pm's to each and every one.

If that is not right could you please fill me in?

Broadcasting is the ability to communicate through Gaia IM...

The partys you check in the box next to the name will be able to
send IMs to your guild in the guild section of GIM.

Not only is it to communicate through gaia, but to advertise too.

One of the problem I am having with this is the fact that it(GIM) doesn't work most of the time. Just sits there loading. I started it up last night, then forgot about it after a few minutes and about half an hour or so goes by and F9(Mac Term) my screen and Im like "Oh hey... wow... still not loaded?!"
