I saw Taken today and really liked it. Has anyone else seen it?

It's about a CIA agent who retired so he could spend more time with his 17-year-old daughter, Kim. She goes to Paris with a friend and gets kidnapped, so he has to hunt down the people that took her and get her back within 96 hours (otherwise she will be lost forever).

I liked taken. The premise, the plot, the execution. I loved how the action scenes were simple and clean. The only thing that bothered me was the fact that his daughter was the fairest of them all... she couldn't just be another girl for sale, no, she had to be the featured item. A tad bit too hollywood in that sense. But otherwise... fun to watch.

I absolutely loved this movie. But it really nagged me that he went through ALL that struggle to get to her.. and she does not really realize and just goes back to her Mother. -__-

Taken is kind of disturbing... but it's a great movie. Defiantly one of my favorites.

Haha, her dad was pretty kick@ss... especially for his age. o_o
