A few months ago we had a banquet at my college, one of the prizes at the banquet was a free piercing at the local parlor. Since Im the local piercing nut, when this came up for grabs everyone cheered my name and I got it. It was great. It felt nice to be recognized. And the free piercing was something I really wanted to begin with. About a week later I went to the piercing place and got myself a labret piercing.

The healing was bad, someone new did it so they gave me too short of a stud so it was tight on my lip and took forever to heal properly, eventually it got better and now Im sporting a fancy new stud and snakebites.

But lately, I cant seem to get my new labret ring off my mind.

Im always playing with it and I know its bad for my teeth. Im even debating taking it out because of it.

But I recently thought that just getting different jewelery for it might be a better idea.

So what do you guys think would be a good idea for new jewelery?

I would recommend trying bioplast/PTFE.

It's soft and flexible.
Also, you can cut it down to size, so you can make it the right length.
Its really cool IMO. You can thread regular ends onto it, so all you need to buy is the stem.
I use some for my cheeks, occasionally.

How would that work?
If you cut it then wouldnt you lose the back or not be able to thread on the ball or anything?

Its kinda hard for me to explain.
You can cut off part of the front, where you thread the ball.
There are no like, screw marks? If you know what I mean? On the end at all.
Its smooth.
To thread the ball, you don't need any marks at all.
It just twists on.

Sorry if that made no sense.
Basic point: You can thread the ends on no matter what.
