New tattoo idea

I was thinking about getting a new tattoo that has to do with my age. I was going to write my age, in the four lines with a line through it style. That way I could always keep adding to it even without having to remove it and redo it. I was going to do the lines in different colors depending on if it was a good year or a bad year, red for bad, and blue for good, black for anything I cant remember or if it didnt stick out as good or bad.

Even as i write this im coming up with a new idea that involves a rose with a new thorn for every year

The only problem with these is the whole leaving enough space for it thing, because if not then I'll be 60 and I wont be able to show anything further, my tattoo will have to stop right then.

Sounds like a mad idea. I was thinking of getting something like that with stab wounds working up from the foot.
