What do you think about April's Fool Day on Gaia? Yesterday, gaia did to us...

If you saw the front page then you would know what she's talking about.

It was the gaia "omnidrink" merger. Lanzer even made a video.
He looked REALLY bored, and said "do exacly what they say".

I got a mental image of him being forced to say that at gunpoint.

(ahhh - it's a hostile takeover) LOL

♥ I didn't fall for it, but it was a good trick.
It really had a LOT of people pissed off and ready to quit the site thinking it was true. The uproar that people were into was really funny.

And...as for the Lanzer at gunpoint thing. I've actually seen a lot of people with a photoshoped image of that in their signature.

That siggy thing is what disturbs me the most.

I'm mean, things haven't gone perfectly recently, but the dude has to be cool, sence he came up with the idea of gaia.

(or at least used to be cool, like before gaia went corporate)

♥ I think it's hilarius how many people hate Lanzer yet stay active on gaia. rolleyes If it wasn't for him, his friends and their ideas.... Gaia would have never existed. Yet, they treat him like s**t. Those people should have spiked rods shoved up their asses.

Why do people hate him so much? I don't know much about him personally, but he doesn't seem so bad. I don't like the new corporate attitude of the site, either, but that's a committee sort of issue. You can't blame the problems of gaia as a whole on one person. Or is it something else? confused

I don't know.
May he is getting blamed for everything that sucks.
But that just means that everyone is forgetting to give credit to him for everything that's great.
It should flow both ways.

♥ I think he alone is being blamed for the corporate attitude of the website.
From what I've heard he's a pretty damn nice guy. And it's obvious he cares about other people or he'd never have created a community based website.
