Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

So there's a new series of Fullmetal Alchemist that premiered earlier this week in Japan. In addition, FUNimation will be streaming the new episodes starting today. Since I know several Culties here have mentioned being fans of FMA, I figured I should share the good news.

Episode 1 can be found here. It's subtitled only, however.

So, this is like... a remake of the series?

I suppose I found it worth watching... and the dub was pretty well done.

I wouldn't say I'm a big fan, though... Like I don't get excited.

Oh jeez, this is so slow loading... and I have broadband... if the service is like this I don't think I'd bother following the series XD

It's a remake. It'd be hard to add a sequel after how the movie ended.

It took two hours for the video to finish loading for me. I've never even had to let the video buffer before this on their site, so I'd guess it was bandwidth issues and it'll be better in a day or two after everyone's watched it.

From what I understand it's a remake that actually follows the manga.

It kinda doesn't carry the same feeling of mystery as the original... I mean, It was made for people who have already watched the original animated series.

A lot of things just kinda irked me about it...

I never read the manga, though, so maybe I just wouldn't be a fan... which is an odd reversal, as it's normally the other way around.
