We are currently running into some financial difficulties sweatdrop Unfortuntely the guild has been getting very few donations, and SilverVixen or I are the ones buying the contest prizes each month. I love running these competitions, but I can't continue to supply the prizes forever. My funds at the moment are almost completely depleted crying
AND SO... I am asking all of you to consider donating your time, if not your gold.
I've seen quite a few group artist auctions, where the winner receives artwork from each of the participating artists. We have some very talented artists here, so I'm sure that if we pool our efforts, we can make enough from one auction to last us for quite a few months worth of contest prizes.
So if you want to offer a full detailed cg, or just a plushie sketch, or anything in between, any form of help will be much appreciated!

I'll be offering one graphic from mah shop. Gonna show Kanjin this thread and get him to offer one. We could all (in the guild) do a guild auction. What forum though? Maybe a thread in the R&C, a thread in the minishops, and a thread in the guilds all linking? Taking bids in the guilds?

i could do a photomanipulation using stock of choice. keep in mind i usually do macabre/horror manipulations.

For the moment I was thinking more along the lines of avatar art sweatdrop That is what I generally see auctions for... What I'm thinking of is sort of along the lines of the S.O.S Charity Auction. Just one thread, in Requests and Commissions, featuring work that tends more towards illustration, by as many arteests as we can gather. It would be cool to run a temporary mini-shop for the length of the auction as well, where we could sell other items like the kind of graphics you make, Lord_Michieru, or your cool photo manips (that one without the mouth is so cool in a freaky way!), KD, but at a flat price. If you only want to do one, we just have to state that in the thread 3nodding Oh, and I'll be offering a full body anime style cg, which I haven't done before on Gaia xd My last full body auction with monochrome colouring pulled in 24k, so I'm hoping a proper cg will be popular 3nodding I've seen the bumping and pimping power of our guild members, so I'm sure we won't have any trouble keeping a thread at the top of the R+C forum xd I also think it will be a good way to promote the guild, and bring in some talented new members. I'm there are a lot of graphic designers hanging around the R+C forum.

I would love to help.. but here is the thing.. I have never done a proper CG from start to end in my life... (I have done some oekaki pictures... but I mostly just color, I can't do good line art with a mouse ) nor have I ever done a proper avatar picture in my life... so I pulled out my pencil and paper and ink and colored pencils and I did 2 colored pencil torso pictures which I will post after I export them from my camera. I also started a CG of one of the two sketches. I will post it all when I am done *blushes* I don't think I am quite good enough though..

I just can't do digital line art all that well... here are the sketches I did by hand:

Raine - nice work there 3nodding If you'd rather do colouring only, thats fine, you can do a collab with me or someone else.
Lyviathon - aw, thats a pity sad This auction won't be held for quite a while yet, since I'm trying to get together as many artists from our guild as possible, so let us know if the slump eases 3nodding
