I think it's kind of making fun of itself and the old videos of people playing the Wii. I remember when the controller was first shown off and it showed people jumping around their room playing Metroid Prime and stuff.

But this guy slides backwards. xd

I honestly wouldn't mind that.

I mean, I'm sure the Wii still has many good games to come, but there's really no excuse not to have much better graphics. I personally buy Nintendo products based purely on fun, but graphics would be nice too. I hope Nintendo remembers that next time.

That's exactly what it was. However, I think they're at least using their in game engine for it this time, instead of the completely bullshit trailer for the first game.

Things I'm expecting to look like the trailer in the real game:
-character models
-textures
-environments

Things I'm not expecting to look like the trailer (but would love to be proven wrong by)
-animations (no way they're that good)
-lighting and shadows
-motion blur

Also I didn't realize this was in the gallery so I'd posted it in the thread again.

Edit: Wish I had more to reference than one blurry image from the scan.

Motion Blur would be amazing. I wish it would have a shaky camera effect, that would be cool.

I'm sure they will. Motion Plus is to Wii as DSi is to DS, I think. Ways to prolong console life with fresh, new ideas without alienating early adopters.

I think so. It said."Exclusively designed for Wii Motion Plus".
I doubt it'd come with the game though... :/
