The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test is a great work of literary journalism published in 1968 by Tom Wolfe. It depicted the story of Ken Kesey and The Merry Pranksters, LSD, various bands such as The Grateful Dead, and hippies in general. It's a great book and I suggest you read it.

Sounds like a good read. It's quite long though. 400+ pages. I'll definitely need to dedicate myself for that book. I'll make it a summer read, for sure! : )

Yeah, lol. I practically own all there albums. Several of them are on Records too. And I think I have like 2 or 3 on 8-Tracks. My all time favorite record is their untitled IV Album. And the new Mothership CD. I got the advanced copy with the DVD in it.

However, I did hear a rumor that they're going to make a movie out of it, which will make me cry like a baby, no joke.
