Entering the room, one is delved into a world of shadow. The floor is covered by a deep, almost black purple carpet, and the only light comes from the vanilla candles placed on several small, randomly placed tables and small desks. The walls are all a shade of purple slightly lighter than the carpet, covered by several of Gianette's paintings, all black and white with one detail in a single color. The most striking of these is a painting of a woman at a masquerade, holding a fan to her lips, in which the only color is the red of her fan and mask. Against the left wall, there is a shelf completely covered by the candles, all lit, and a small, fluffy chair. This area is flanked by two large bookshelves, both of them stuffed to full capacity with books of all different sorts. Towards the center of the room, there is a circle where the carpet has been cut away, about six feet in diameter, for Gian to practice her martial arts. The carpet that goes in this circle is rolled up and leaning against the wall with several black and purple bean bags, to be placed back in that spot should Gian have company. Part of the right side of the room is separated from the rest by a deep purple blackout curtain that is covered with stars and moons. Behind this curtain is an area Gian has set aside for her art, about 5 feet wide. This area is the only one with any form of electric light, several small lamps that give Gian just enough light to see her colors and details. In the corner, there is an easel with a currently blank canvas, and against the wall is a desk covered by many papers and sketches. Next to this is a shelf, the only thing in the room with any sense of organization, with a special area for each of her different art supplies. The door to the hallway is just to the left of this curtain.
The hallway's theme matches the main room, with purple carpet floor and purple walls, and more paintings lining it. There is a small, 5 inch wide shelf that follows down both walls covered by more vanilla candles. To the left in the hallway is a door with a painting of a mermaid on it. This is the door to the bathroom. To the right in the hallway, there is a door with a Japanese ink, or Sumi, style painting of a dragon, with Gianette's name painted in a smooth, simple calligraphy. This is the door to the bedroom.

The bedroom has slightly more light than the main room, provided by a small chandelier style light hanging in the exact center of the ceiling. The floor is this time a blood red carpet, and the walls are painted black with several red, gold, and silver dragons painted on them. Directly under the light is a large, circular bed with black silk sheets and a gold down comforter with a red dragon design with a red bed curtain around the bed. Against the left wall is a set up similar to that of the main room, with a chair, this time red, a shelf covered in candles, and two bookshelves. The right wall has a large wardrobe, wood that has been stained a deep cherry red, with another dragon carved into the door, which holds most of Gian's clothes. Next to the wardrobe is a large window, with red blackout curtains, which draw out to reveal a window seat that opens like a hope chest to reveal more books and a soft black blanket. The back wall is home to several portfolios full of Gian's old sketches and drawings and a single desk with a laptop on it. Against the front wall next to the door on either side are two tubs, one full of Gian's dirty clothes and the other full of her work out and 'stay at home' clothes.
