1 biggrin avid Starr Jordan: Wisdom is knowing what to do next; Skill is knowing how to do it, and Virtue is doing it.
2 biggrin ietrich Bonhoeffer: To understand reality is not the same as to know about outward events. It is to perceive the essential nature of things. The best-informed man is not necessarily the wisest. Indeed there is a danger that precisely in the multiplicity of his knowledge he will lose sight of what is essential. But on the other hand, knowledge of an apparently trivial detail quite often makes it possible to see into the depth of things. And so the wise man will seek to acquire the best possible knowledge about events, but always without becoming dependent upon this knowledge. To recognize the significant in the factual is wisdom.

Well, it depends on what you want the quote for. The second one is obviously longer than the first, if it's something you're wanting for Gaia or another website's signature or something to that effect. I'd say go with the 1st because long things tend to make 90% of people online look away.
However, the second one seems like it could be broken down into multiple quotes and not just one lump sum of quote.

On your dorm room door?
If you want anyone to actually read it, use the short one.
Purple agrees with me. (she's playing duel masters on my ps3 right now - LOL)

Basically a summed up version of what I said. 3nodding <3 So, I'd go with the first if I were you.

Lack of time and attention span! I'll agree with the lack of attention. Especially with something THAT psychological.
