hey there. i'm new to the forum, and decided to upload some of my poems.
Broken Angel
Soaring through the sky, wind in my hair
flying on feathery wings, having not a care
nothing but happiness as i fly behind the moon so bright
nothing can stop me, and my joy of flight.
just me and my friends flying in the rain,
no one knew that that soon there would be pain.
out of nowhere, struck in the chest
friends beside me gasp, staring at my breast
looking down i see an arrow, stuck so fast
realize i'm falling, about to hit the ground at last
vision fading to black, I see friends flying on
leaving me to die on a grassy lawn
In my final few seconds I begin to cry
My last thought, my wings are broken, nevermore to fly

I love you more every day,
My name I long for you to say.
Do you know just how I feel?
Do you know this love is real?
Sometimes I wonder what you think.
When you hear my name, do your cheeks turn pink?
Do you dream about me every night?
Wish to hug me and hold me tight?
Do you think we're meant to be?
Together forever, you and me?
These are the questions that run through my mind,
Your way into my heart, you did find.
It drives me crazy as to what I should do,
Should I risk a friendship and confess to you?
Or should I keep my feelings inside,
Keep them locked up, let them hide?
I just don't know what to do anymore,
My heart it aches, my heart it's sore.
I love you more than you could know,
And I don't want to ever let you go.
So even if I'm just a friend,
I'll always love you until the end
so thats all for now, more later.

Love Departed
There truly is no love as love divine,
with her I've been in love with all my life
and some day I hope to call her mine.
perhaps one day to be husband and wife.
I sit in my room and curse my bad luck,
that I would fall in love with someone like you.
I can admit to myself I'm love-struck,
but it's too hard to ask.."Do you love me too?"
But then I heard the news, from a close friend,
He came up and said he had some bad news
He told me about the crash you'd been in,
"but... It can't be true...No! No! i refuse!"
now I stand over your grave, pain in my heart,
Never to see you again... my love...Departs.
