Meaning / hate
What is the meaning of life?
Does such a thing exist,
or do we live for the knife?
Live to die, die to rot?
Maybe we should just believe the lies we’re taught.
Do we find love for each other
in our quest for immortality?
This may be true,
sadly.
Humanity must be saved from itself.
We must give a meaning to life.
But sadly, at the moment
there’s no reason for our strife.
Optimists call me dismal.
Pessimists believe me right.
Holy men call this blasphemy,
but they just lack insight.
I don’t believe I’m wrong or right.
I just wonder if
the world ends tonight.
Don’t patronize or discriminate,
for these are the things
that breed the hate
we feel for each other.
We give birth to one,
as our country kills another.
The end is near.
Right now people die.
Silently in her room,
a little girl cries.
Don’t patronize or discriminate,
for these are the things
this little girl hates.
I’m writing, but are you reading?
Or are you sitting in your room cutting, bleeding?
You are just as dismal
as this girl in Colorado.
She burns herself
and waists herself,
but you share her sorrow.
She’s beautiful, but still she strives
to always be the best.
You cry for her as she kills herself
and slowly forgets the rest.
She believes herself a bad person,
but she just lives in this bad world.
You’re so hypocritical.
You’re worse off than this girl.
You cut yourself in sorrow,
and wish for no tomorrow.
But still you live
and constantly give
to this little girl you follow.
Don’t patronize or discriminate,
for these are the things
that wrote your fate.
It was written in blood.
Blood that floods
from your arm to the floor,
and you can’t take it anymore.
You’re lying on the floor.
You’re dying and you’re sore.
This is all in your head.
Just forget the things they said.
But you wont no matter
how many times I tell you.
Your just a fool with
a big mouth, aren’t you?
Don’t patronize or discriminate
for these are the things
you and this girl hate.
Don’t play the game of fate.
You’ve got one more chance,
but you’ll waste it.
I know it.
