my poetry probably sucks but... here goes:
The Essence of Life
Liquid crystals, falling to the ground,
Made of the essence of life.
Seeming so mystical, not making a sound,
Not disturbing or causing any strife.
Minding my own business, I walked right on through,
The wind whipping at my hair.
As is if the rain was sunlight, the flowers embraced the dew,
And my friends simply stopped and stared.
No one seems to realize why water is vital,
But by water, I am enchanted.
So when I put this poem up for recital,
You better not take water for granted.
I don't know HOW I came up with it, but I tried.
