Erm... recently I've been listening to a lot of Apocalyptica, She Wants Revenge, and Blutengel. I discovered them on YouTube after someone recc'd me a song from Blutengel, and then I found Apocalyptica while searching for something instrumental, and lastly, She Wants Revenge was on Nightmare Revisted.
Other then that... my taste is pretty much all over the place. A few of my favorites are: Yiruma, the GazettE, DELUHI, ClearVeil, Within Temptation, Nightwish, Sirenia, Versailles - philharmonic quintet -, Matenrou Opera, Xandria, Kamelot, Sonata Arctica, and Kaya.
