Hello all, as you may guess this thread is for discussing Pokemon games in general! This is not a giant FAQ, just tips, tricks, and help in the games. I guess I'll start things off then with one for emerald...
Berry Master in Lilycove: When the Berry Master is in the Lilycove contest hall, any Pokeblocks made with his aid are fantastic. The bulk of blocks made with him will become "Gold" Pokeblocks, any safari zone Pokemon is drawn to them when placed in the bait stands. When thrown at a Pokemon, they will stay longer than usual. You can actually not bother pressing the button when spinning pokeblocks and he will press the button exactly 31 times and maintain an average speed of around 158.-- for speed, the average level is 54-57 and the feel is usually 43. Some berries when blended will produce a non-gold pokeblock and will average a level and feel of 43...
That is all I know for now...

indeed. i never got into Emerald, despite how much of it i was looking forward to... only the new things and the storyline relay appealed to me, not the new pokemon, and definately not the fact that it was the same old game in essence....
personally, my favorite game was Silver, and i enjoyed what Crystal looked like. (never had that version myself.)

Emerald's the only GBA one I have, but I play Pearl the most.

I stopped after Crystal, had only to go for Mew and Celebi Dx always wanted to get my pokédex 100%
Kinda got tired of more versions from pokémon, so I can only tell about stuff from yellow, red, gold and crystal.
I know an old trick to clone items in red which also works in blue, next to that a clone trick for pokémon in gold which also works for silver and a clone trick for every game, not sure, but never used it because it's really risky.

I agree with you, sadly I couldn't clone Celebi, otherwise I finally got her on my pokédex .____.

Yup, maybe with the trade cable trick, but not in the pokéboxes.
I helped a girl once with cloning her some good pokémons from mine, if I could get some cloned ones from her which I didn't had at that time, she also had a Celebi. But sadly the trick didn't worked T____T so I got a Celebi on my pokédex but gave her the pokémon back and told her not to trade it like she had done with Mew for a Charizard Dx

a little note, I played pokémon untill Crystal and so far I know are Mew and Celebi blocked to be cloned there, so I don't know how it works for all the games after that xD
But on the other hand, I heard rumors people could use something to hack the game with a prog. because a friend cheated to get her hands on all the pokémon this way, and also has a FireRed with a gameplay for like 0:37 min and finished the whole thing xD

I get how you could do that. Cheat a level 100 team, walk anywhere cheat, walk to the Elite four, whoop their asses, done.
