my tongue web experience!

well, i just got my tongue webbing pierced tonight...
the actual piercing was like nothing, but i felt like passing out from the freakin clamp! that was a terrible pain haha. it was worse than when i got my industrial done! crazy stuff.

well, i got a cbr, which afterwards i regretted because it is kind of pushing on my gums. but that's because it's huge, and i'm thankful it's huge because there is already quite a bit of swelling.
i do wish i would've gotten a curved bar bell, it seems that it would be more comfortable.

it's actually pretty painful, and i know it will be tomorrow too, but i hope on monday the worst will be over.

all i can say, is that i can not WAIT to get it changed to smaller jewelry lol.
and i hope i'm not talking like a retard by tuesday, because i have to work then. xD

okay so today, it is still too painful to eat solid foods, but the swelling has gone down a tiny bit.
i expect i won't be able to eat solid foods for a while D:

i think mouth piercings can be an a**-pain

i remember getting a regular ol' tongue piering back in the day...
everyone i knew was like "oh no, it didnt hurt a bit"

mine hurt like hell.
it swelled and throbbed for 3 weeks.
nothing but soup and lisping the whole time

i swore id never do that again.

(later, i learned the piercer i chose was inept)
(the shop got shut down a year later)

i ended up getting another one,
and then taking them both out
after .. ahem .. an incident involving the barbells pinching someone redface


but to this day,
healing mouth-type piercings turns me off.
i've gotten wussy in my old age sweatdrop

which sucks because i really want a smiley

UGH TELL ME ABOUT IT!!!!!

i kept seeing "just got my tongue web pierced, no pain at all!!!!"
and it looks perfect and all that jazz...
well, mine is still swelled and painful about a week later! you can't even tell i have a tongue web right now lol.
although the swelling is steadily going down each day and it is steadily hurting less.
i hope i never have to take it out because i don't want to get it redone.

but yeah, i'm eating solids now, i just have to be really careful so it takes me like 10x longer to eat. also there are certain things i can't do, like get the food out of my teeth gonk
so annoying.

My tongue web was my most painful piercing by far. Worse than my navel, rook, industrial, even conch (!). It would've been fine if it was short, but the torture was rather drawn-out... All the time it took to get the ball screwed on, it tugged at my fresh piercing and oh god I don't even want to think about it.

I could eat and talk perfectly later that day, though. smile
