Maybe some of you are asking, What does Brad Pitt have to do with this guild?

Apparently, people in New Orleans have been wearing shirts with "Brad Pitt for mayor". Brad Pitt was asked on the Today Show, if he ever would run. He said, he didn't have a chance and it is not what he does best. Also you must be a resident of the city for five years.

If though, he said he will not running.

Would you vote for him if he ever did?

His platforms are the following:
Gay Marriage
No Religion
Legalization/taxation of a certain plant

Honestly, I would vote for him in a second. But what is your opinion about this matter?

He won me over with Gay Marriage and No religion. Plus all his charity work helps him out, too.

I think it's awesome that he, a public figure, is willing to stand up for those controversial views. It opens the door for more people to stand up for what they believe in, despite all those who say that one must conform (believe in God, follow the bible) or else. As a political figure, I'd probably have to see how he feels on some of the other issues before voting for him, but those stances do make him an attractive candidate so far.

Oh, yeah totally! No religion is ******** fantastic! And gay marriage is just a no brainer. Is Brad Pitt really an atheist? God, I hope he gets elected! It's really sweet that he has refused to get married until everyone, regardless of orientation, can too.

Brad said himself, he had no chance of winning.

Isn't No Religion impossible because of the US Constitution, or does that just mean enforced secularism?

Could somebody link to the news article talking about this?

No Brad Pitt is said to be an atheist.

Don't you know, no one values the Constitution anymore. sweatdrop

I can't find the article at the moment, except for one on Indecision (comedy central)

Brad Pitt is going to be on Bill Maher's show so I am sure you will find more information about it on there. It is on HBO on friday night.

You're thinking of Tom Cruise.

I thought he did mean enforced secularism. Of course, he's not really running, so who knows what he meant.

i would have voted for him
as for the "no religion" part
as atheist we shouldn't force people to disbelieve
and like for believeers they shouldn't force people to believe

unless he meant as in rule making shouldn't have religion involved

do you guys think marijuana should be legalized and taxed?
